How do we design wedding & other occasion cakes?

An appointment is necessary to discuss all your requirements. Bring along colour samples of fabric, stationary, etc...florist details & any other ideas that you would like to incorporate into the cake.

For birthday cakes, you may have a particular theme that you would like to follow ie. your favourite football team, colours on invitations etc...

When should I order my cake? 

For wedding's, please book as early as possible to avoid dissapointment. Spaces fill quickly from September - May as this is a very busy period. Please allow up to 6-12 months in advance.

For all other cake orders please allow as much notice as possible to avoid dissapointment.

What cake flavours can I order?

All our cakes are baked from scratch & to order. We offer;

Dark chocolate mud cake, a rich & moist cake the most popular cake flavour.

White chocolate mud cake, a sweet dense cake great for dessert & childrens parties.

Caramel mud cake, a delicious light caramel flavour.

Vanilla bean butter cake, moist cake great for childrens parties & also for wedding dessert. Not suitable for tiered cakes.

Chocolate & almond torte (gluten free), very moist & decetant.

Rich fruit cake, rich in sultanas, raisins, currants, apricots, prunes, housemade glace orange & dates all macerated in Rutherglen's finest Muscat.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we do deliver & set up your cake. There is a delivery & set up fee of minimum $75.00. Within 60km of Wahgunyah, all other locations POA.

Delivery is only available for wedding cakes all other cakes are to be picked up from the premisis in Wahgunyah.

What payment methods are available?

The options we offer are cash, cheque, money order or direct deposit.

Can I buy packaged biscuits & cakes direct from you?

Yes, we do sell direct to the public. Please email or call for your requirements.

Products can also be purchased from local farmers markets.

For wholesale enquiries please call or email & a price/product list will be forwarded.

Do you make wedding bomboniere?

Yes, we can make wedding bomboniere including mini melting moments & florentines. We can also supply noodle boxes & clear cube boxes.

Do I have to pay a deposit & how much?

A minimum deposit of $100.00 is required for all wedding cakes & a minimum of $50 for all birthday cakes. Final payment is due on pick up. For delivery of wedding cakes, final payment is due one week prior to event.

All deposits are non refundable.

All cakes remain the property of Louisa Morris Cakes until full payment has been recieved.
